The massive PYREX Optima pan made of durable forged aluminum is suitable for everyday home use. The surface of the Optima pan is XYLAN Plus PTFE Whitford, which is a high-quality two-layer coating that excels in above-standard non-stick properties. Frying in a pan therefore requires only a minimal amount of fat. The special Xylan Plus surface has increased resistance to scratches and abrasion during cooking, however, we recommend using more gentle kitchen utensils made of wood, plastic or silicone.
The strong bottom and body of the pan evenly distribute the heat, the ergonomic handle of the pan fits beautifully in the hand and, thanks to the Soft-touch surface treatment, it is also very pleasant.
Thanks to the high-quality non-stick surface, the pan is also very easy to clean. The pan can also be washed in the dishwasher.
