A low-pressure cooker with a lid saves energy and shortens the cooking time. When cooking with the lid on and secured, steam loss is reduced to a minimum. Part of the steam generated in the cooker condenses on the food and transfers its energy to the food being cooked. Another part of the steam condenses on the cooker itself and falls back into the cooker in the form of hot water. Thanks to this process, it is possible to cook in the cooker with significantly less water, which means up to 50% less energy is consumed than with conventional cooking. Valuable substances in the food are also preserved, and the food's own taste is also preserved. The cooker lid has a steam valve that ensures constant pressure equalization between the inside of the cooker and the surroundings. This prevents any danger due to overpressure that can occur in pressure cookers from the start of cooking. The lid is closed by sliding the upper part of the ears towards the centre. Thanks to the constant pressure equalization, the lid of the pot can be removed at any time and the pot can be used for classic cooking. The energy-saving pot is suitable for all types of stoves, i.e. gas, electric, with a glass ceramic hob and induction. It is not intended for use in the oven. Material: aluminum with surface treatment - inside the pot there is a 2-layer non-stick surface, outside there is a PTFE layer, glass, stainless steel, bakelite. The pot is dishwasher safe, the lid is not. Dimensions: o. 5.5 l, dia. 26 cm, w. with handles 37 cm, h. 14/23 cm. Spare parts: fuse 180812, seal 180811, lid 711437.
